What you are buying

You are buying the right to have your logo and name displayed on a specific advertising placement on this website's 3D model of the car — on the hood or on one of the two flanks — for as long as you hold that placement. If the funding target is reached, the placements as they stand on the day the wrap is ordered are printed onto the real car and run for six months. You are not buying the car, a share of the car, any physical object, equity, or any intellectual property.

Blocks can be taken from you

This is the core mechanic, and it is deliberate: any placement you hold can be taken by another advertiser who pays 25% more than you paid for it, rounded up to the next dollar. When that happens your placement passes to them and the amount you paid is not refunded. Prices only ever move upward. The price shown for a placement at any moment is the price to take it at that moment.

Payment

Payments are processed by PayPal. We never see or store your card details. A placement is only assigned to you once PayPal confirms the payment. If a payment fails, is reversed, charged back, or refunded, the associated placements are released. While you are in checkout your placements are held for 15 minutes; if they change hands before payment completes, you are not charged.

Your logo and content

By uploading a logo you confirm that:

• you own it or have permission to use it, and displaying it here infringes nobody's rights;
• you grant us permission to display it on this site, on the printed car, and in photos, posts and videos about the experiment;
• it is not illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, deceptive, malware-bearing, or impersonating someone else.

We may remove any logo, name, link, or note that breaks these rules, or that we judge harmful to the project, without a refund. Anything removed will not be printed.

The funding target

The target is $40,000, which is the full rate card: three placements on the hood and two on each flank. If it is reached, I buy a Tata Harrier.ev, print the placements, and drive it daily for six months, publishing dated video proof. Placements stay live after the target: takeovers still work until the car is printed. If the target is not reached, every payment is refunded in full.

Availability

This is an experiment, not infrastructure. The site is provided as-is, with no guarantee of uptime, and it may change or be taken offline. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

Privacy Policy

Short version: we collect the minimum needed to show your sponsorship and send you a receipt. We do not sell your data, and we never handle your card details.

What we collect

• Advertiser name, logo, colour, link and note. Shown publicly on the car, the rate card, the leaderboard and the activity feed.
• Email address. Used for your receipt and to contact you about the print. Not shown publicly.
• Payment records. Amount, placements and PayPal order id.
• Usage events. Pages viewed and buttons clicked on this site, tied to a random id stored in your browser, plus IP address and browser type.

Who processes it

PayPal (payments), Aiven (database), Cloudflare R2 (logo storage), Zoho Mail (notification email) and Google Analytics (traffic statistics). These providers process data on our behalf. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets analytics cookies. We use no advertising cookies. The site stores your placement selection and a random visitor id in your browser's local storage.

How long we keep it

Sponsorship records are kept for as long as the experiment runs and for as long as we are legally required to keep payment records afterwards.

Your rights

Email us to get a copy of your data, correct it, or ask for deletion. We will remove your email address and unpublish your logo on request. We may keep a minimal payment record where we are legally required to.

Children

This site is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.

Refund Policy

Because what you buy is delivered immediately and can be taken by a later sponsor at any time, sponsorships are non-refundable, with two exceptions:

• If the $40,000 target is not reached, every payment is refunded in full through PayPal.
• If a payment is taken in error (for example a duplicate charge), email us and it will be refunded.

Losing a placement to a takeover is not grounds for a refund.
